[obol] Backyard Bird Count Favorite Bird

My favorite bird seen on Saturday, February 16th in a sub-division just east of  the corner of NE 162nd and NE Sandy Boulevard (Gresham, Oregon) was a Yellow-warbler.  It was hopping around on a front lawn in bright sunshine, so I took a few pictures and puzzled over them.

I came to the wrong conclusion as to what it was.  The good folks at the WoodVillage Backyard Bird Shop identified it for me.  I'm happy because this is the first time I've seen one of these.  Then my friend and I saw more when we walked the west portion of Columbia River Slough canoe launch trail.  such a wonderful little bird!
