[obol] barking owls

Barred Owls definitely bark. I mistook one very vociferous night-time 
barker/shrieker for a Spotted Owl on last year's BBS in the coast range. 
It never gave anything remotely like a Who Cooks For You sound. The 
Spotted Owl researcher went to the spot shortly thereafter and called up 
Barred Owls, not Spotted Owls. I listened to plenty of recordings and 
haven't a clue how you could tell them apart if they refuse to sound 
like the recordings.

The very faithfully bouncing Screech Owl was at it again tonight by our 
horse barn. Nice to have an owl that sounds like it's supposed to.
