[obol] BALD EAGLE (Oregon City)

Early this am an adult BALD EAGLE flew over our house at about twice rooftop height.  I had already had my morning coffee, but this really woke me up!  I live about 3 mi inland from the confluence of the Clackamas/Willamette rivers but I have only seen BAEA here twice before in about 5 years of being watchful for them and other raptors passing overhead.  This one continued on in level flight down our lane 0.2 mi to the main road, swung N and flew out of sight toward Oregon City.  I suspect it was looking for carrion along roadways.
