  So attached are pictures of a water bird, I think it is safe to say a duck, but the question is what kind of duck???  My sister took these back in Illinois outside Chicago.  Any idea of what it is?  I think there is just too much cross-breeding going on back there in those ponds but I thought I would check with you to see if you might know.  Sure isn't pictured in any of my bird books!!!

  I was at Fullersburg today and got some photo's of a very odd duck! He looked like he was wearing a Russian fur hat!! or a really bad toupee. it was quite floppy on his head....any idea what kind of duck he is????? I can't find him in any book, and he was the only one...maybe a tumor??!!??
