The WILSON'S PHALAROPES are still at the Tualatin River National Wildlife
Refuge off 99W near Sherwood. It is definitely a pair and judging by how
they flew circles over our heads as we walked on the dike road past the
stand of willows they disappeared into I would say they are nesting. This
was on Sunday afternoon. Birds of Oregon doesn't show a breeding site symbol
for Washington County, although there is one close to it. Does anyone know
if this would be a first for Washington County?
