Columbia Estuary Report - 7/8/2008

A BLACK PHOEBE was seen at Reed Ranch (North Coast Land Conservancy 
Property) near West Lake.

Steve Warner reports that a female LAZULI BUNTING at the Stanley 
Lake site (first reported 2 weeks ago) was carrying food yesterday
and this morning.  I also stopped there this morning and saw a 
male, heard an additional singing male and at least 3 females.

I also made a trip up to Mist yesterday to look for the Red-eyed
Vireos reported there.  I heard many WARBLING VIREOS and YELLOW
WARBLERS, but any Red-eyes had either moved on or weren't talking.
