There is still plenty of room on the Sunday, August 10 Perpetua Bank pelagic
trip. This great trip is 11 hours in duration, goes offshore about 35 miles
to the edge of the Newport Sea Valley, chums there in deeper waters, then
heads south 10 miles to the margins of Perpetua Bank and chums again at this
albatross hotspot. Price is $160 per person.
Last year we had 2 pair of XANTUS'S MURRELETS photographed at close range on
this trip. Other regular August species seen on this trip included
LONG-TAILED JAEGER, SABINE'S GULL, RED PHALAROPE, FORK-TAILED STORM-PETREL,
and ARCTIC TERN.
