[obol] A plethora of pelicans

BROWN PELICANS and HEERMAN'S GULLS continue to be present in "WOW" numbers
in the Brookings area.  Bait fish, probably anchovies, are very abundant in
the river estuary, boat basins and near shore waters.  Large numbers of
cormorants, murres with begging young, etc are taking good advantage of the
situation.  I did not see any terns in the area today but otherwise it's
somewhat of a bird zoo around here.
