That would be an extremely rare record. The only previous sighting of a
White-headed Woodpecker that I am aware from the coast of is of a bird seen
by Neil Main at Ft. Stevens State Park (Clatsop Co.) perhaps 20 years ago or
so. I find Neil Main's record to be very credible.
