[obol] Interesting Golden Eagle Behaviour on Crooked River

Last evening while fishing on the Crooked River I put down my pole to watch 2 adult Golden Eagles soaring along the basalt column cliffs. After a time they soared down to directly over the river. One then landed on the bank opposite me and after 5 minutes or so hopped onto a barely submerged rock near the bank and began drinking. After that bird finished drinking and took off the second adult GE then did the exact same thing, landing in the same spot on the bank etc.
It's not often you get to catch raptors drinking and it was an incredible sight to see up close...
