[obol] Coos woodpecker?

I long ago wondered why we never had any reports of vagrant Black-backed or
Three-toed Woodpeckers to the coastal areas with stands of Shore Pine (Pinus
contorta).  (I am now barred from finding the first unless it is
photographed.)  Jeff Gilligan.
