[obol] Parking and Birding

	Given all the problems here in Lane County with theft etc. at our  
favorite birding sites, it seems to me that the only solution at this  
time is to go with groups and have one volunteer stay with the  
vehicles to monitor the area. These people are not likely to be  
breaking and entering with someone there to watch, get descriptions  
and license plate information.
	I know this is not the ideal option, but it is probably the only way  
we are going to be able to continue to enjoy our wildlife refuges and  
trails given the present financial and policing situation.
	To our local Wednesday morning group, I am volunteering to be the  
person to watch our vehicles during our next outing. So don't  
hesitate to go where ever we want. Let's continue to get out there!
