This morning Stefan Schlick and I birded Hagg Lk, where I was happy to find
my first Washington Co Cassin's Vireo on Lee Rd. At Sain Creek a Warbling
Vireo was singing. We were able to see Yellow-breasted Chat along the
western edge of the Scoggins Valley Rd loop. This was at a turnout past Sain
Creek when traveling clockwise around the lake.

We viewed the flooded fields of Wapato from Gaston Rd and from Dellwood,
south of Gaston in Yamhill Co, trying to refind yesterday's Bonaparte's
Gull. It was not around, but we saw a pair of Bufflehead swimming in what
normally are farm fields at this time of year. This is quite late.

A Double-crested Cormorant was drying its wings, and pair of Osprey were
building a new nest on a power pole, while two old nests in view were
occupied. Altogether unseasonably aquatic.
