Marilyn Christian and I birded Malheur area and had a great time! We
found several BOBOLINK about 1 mile N of P Ranch on the CPR and had
an INDIGO BUNTING on Saturday at about 1630-1700 in the HQ trees
near the parking lot as you drive in. We watched it for several
minutes as it perched in the tree and then flew into the bushes
nearby and up the slope finally going across the main road.

We also got WHIMBREL and LONG-BILLED CURLEW on Hwy 205 near Burns
along with both WILSON'S and RED-NECKED PHALAROPE.

We also saw some kind of flycatcher that I'm still researching.
There was a report of a Least Flycatcher, but I'm not sure this was
one and it was silent--no help.

Good birding y'all,
