Nothing of note to add to what Jim Carlson noted about the Common Grackle
having been seen at Page Springs on Saturday May 1 except that Anne and I
found a COMMON GRACKLE at the feeders in the private yard behind the post
office in Frenchglen at 2pm on Sunday June 1. Who knows if it is the same
individual? It preferred to hang out on the east side (back side) of the
southernmost seed feeder at the back fence. After watching the feeder for
some time I noticed there was a large bird on the back of the feeder that I
could only see through the feeder's Plexiglas. I walked around to the back
fence of the schoolyard (not sure one could or should do that during school
hours) and the bird that was back there then hopped around to the south side
and front (west) side and gave us good views.

Regarding the Painted Redstart on the HQ flipchart, if that was the entry I
put on there I am sorry. I did NOT intend to mislead, we meant to say
American Redstart!! Jim, I hope you corrected it.
