Hi All,
Also present this morning was a BANK SWALLOW in the
same vicinty as the parula, and a BULLOCK'S ORIOLE at
the BLM office in North Bend (unusual on the outer
coast).
On the 1st out on the north spit there was a WESTERN
KINGBIRD at the end of Transpacific Road. Also present
was a late Ruddy Duck and a pintail (along with all
the other ducks I reported on the 31st). Shorebirds
included 5 Semipalmated Plovers, 4 Greater Yellowlegs,
and a Leastie Sandpiper.
The parula was my nemesis warbler species in Oregon,
great to finally see one, and in Coos Bay!
Merry migration,
Tim R
