[obol] Marion and Polk Purple Martins 6/1/08

In my post of a day or 2 ago I forgot to mention that I saw 3 PURPLE MARTINS over Egret Marsh at Ankeny NWR south of Salem on Saturday, and they perched a few times in the snags visible from the overlook.  Then on Sunday Teresa and I took a long walk at Baskett Slough NWR and we saw a single yearling male PUMA over the water there.
