Caspian Tern on Benson Pond.

John Crowell and I went to Malheur Refuge this past week. John spotted a
Brown Thrasher, Wednesday at Brothers' Rest stop. It was still there on our
return Saturday.

Friday I found a Juniper Titmouse in the Junipers aboveFrenchglen at the
very top of the hill where it levels off.

We had terrible wintry weather with strong winds every day. We did notice
there were way below normal numbers of water fowl, but huge number of Ibis
and Flycatchers(every tree had some sort of Flycatcher.
