FYI: There's an OSPREY nest atop a tall "streetlamp," located in front of the CIRCUIT CITY at JANTZEN BEACH, North Portland. I heard the telltale fish-hawk call today, but didn't have binos to check out what was happening way up yonder in the nest. If you are doing any shopping in North Portland, have some fun with impromptu birdwatching as well.
