[obol] AOL Spam Reports

Jim

I appreciate your efforts. Do not give up.

Two and a half thoughts.

Some accounts other than AOL have a "we know best" obsession that starts dumping deletes from the same address into the junk files after awhile. Guess what they do after they start getting a lot of messages from the same address in the junk file ?

We have made at least three attempts to communicate with you by email as the new server refuses to recognize our password. I wonder, as we have no bounce messages, if an automated reply is sending them to our old isp, seasurf.net. Could we get a manual reply maybe?

Finally, on a site that involves no legal, financial, trade secret etc. info, maybe we don't need as much "safety." And maybe a default that sent only the digest might simplify life for you and the largest portion of the community. Two quarter-baked ideas that may add up to one half-baked idea.

For the rest of you, you see why many of us who used the internet before AOL etc. use "AOL" as a swear word second only to "M*cr*s*ft.
