     Twelve BRANT were still at Bayocean
yesterday at five o'clock (6/15). I'm
guessing two family groups from last
year's hatch? They were in two bunches of
six, 200m apart. At least one adult per
bunch, but most of them looked pretty
scruffy, I took for sub-adults.
    This was the only sighting of note in
over four hours of birding. Not even any
swallows over Lake Meares. A flock of Hermit
Warblers at the Cape Lookout SP Day Use area
indicates migration is still in progress.
The BRANT must actually know what they're up
