could it possibly be that Oregon birders aren't as interested as Texas
birders in lists?
could it be that Oregon birders don't have the interests to compete
and/or see their names on some lists as Texas birders do?
could it be that Oregon birders don't have as much money to spare as
Texas birders to be giving it away to aba?
could it be that Oregon birders choose to give their money to other
organizations besides aba?
could it be that Oregon birders just don't care as much nationally as
they do about their state, or their county?
could it be that Oregon birders aren't interested in competition as much
as Texas birders?
could be all or none of the above.
could be that few of us really care, or don't care.
we do love birds here in Oregon, though. and we like to share. the
birds. maybe not the lists.
