[obol] a little bit of home

Hello folks, 
for those who are keeping track... I just saw a Eurasian collard dove on Hayter in Dallas.  I was driving along Hayter, and about mid-block, just before Cherry, I was able to pull right up along side and watch for a good 5 minutes a bird that I never expected to see again after leaving England.  
There was no mistaking it.  The size, colour and the black half-ring on the back of the neck... with out a doubt one of the most beautiful birds in the UK, with a lovely call/song but... here?  time on this, 4:40pm  It was picking up bits off of the road.  Didn't fly away, just walked, and not very fast either.
