Indeed it was an adult. Couldn't possibly be a juvenile on 27 June,
especially since I hear it is a late spring up north. Note basically no
groups of Westies have been seen yet, even though it is early, by 4 July
we ususally see some big groups of adults. Will be interesting to see
what the next few days bring.

As far as I know all August and September records are of juveniles. This has got to be the earliest southbound record or the earliest non-breeder or the earliest whatever. Mid-August is normally considered "early" for juvies.
