[obol] Friday Morning Sandhill Cranes over Crabtree, Linn County

Yesterday morning, just as I was leaving for work at 7:00, Patricia alerted
me to the sound of a flock of Sandhill Cranes flying over. We could not see
them from the house, but I saw the flock heading off over Hungry Hill as I
drove north toward Crabtree, too distant to tell how many there were. I
thought I had missed them in the northward passage this year. I can't recall
seeing them as early in the morning as that.
