[obol] Gull Fun

Phil,

Attached you will find an image of a gull I saw at the base of Fern Ridge Dam this morning.  I wanted to get your thoughts on this bird.  

Gull 1 -- This bird was as large or maybe slightly larger than GWGU and GWGU X WEGU intergrades by direct comparison.  The bill was as large as it looks.  I speculated that this might be a HEGU X GLGU, but it looked too dark in the coverts and the wingtips looked as dark as they appear in this picture.
