Hi Folks,
When I awoke this AM I could see the blue sky so thought it would be nice to head to the coast.  My wife independently thought the same, so it must have been something that was supposed to happen.  We walked the usual places we do,  at the south jetty mostly.   I walked the MCS trail and found a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW among the many white-crowneds.   It was a nice county bird for me.  In case anyone wants to know where it was,  it was found about 100 meters from the start of the trail.  However,  I was not able to see it well until about 200 meters along.    As nice as it was inland,  it was a little cool at the beach.
