[obol] Didn't Find Caracara

Yesterday, Tues. March 11, Paula Vanderheul and I checked southern Benton
Co. roads for the Crested Caracara with no success.  The area we looked was
from the south side of Finley NWR to a bit north of Monroe, checking side
roads on both sides of 99W.  We also checked the Airport Rd and 53d St sites
where one was seen 2 years ago.

 

The Crested Caracara that showed up in Benton Co. 2 years ago moved around a
lot - there was a creditable tho unconfirmed sighting from Blodgett (about
10 mi. west of Philomath) several days before it was found along Airport Rd.
It could still be in the area somewhere.
