[obol] Average spring arrival date for Rufous Hummingbird, Portland area

Dear OBOL, 
   
  I have been following the discussion of FOY Rufous Hummingbirds. As some of you know, Christopher and Adrian (Hinkle) recently put together a data table for the average arrival dates for spring migrants in the greater Portland metro area (Washington, Multnomah, Clackamas, and Colombia counties). The average date of arrival is February 25, based on 16 years of records. The earliest spring arrival date is Feb. 4th. Interestingly, the first one we read about this year on OBOL arrived February 25th, so if there isn't an earlier date out there that we are not aware of, make that 17 years of records.
