Yesterday while getting the mail at Buns Jct, a Spotted Towhee was rummaging in the motel yard and getting a drink from the rain puddles. There has been a Sapsucker hanging around our yard. He looks like a Yellowed Belly Sapsucker according to Audubon and Peterson. Sibley is hiding again. We have had quite a few Yellow-headed BB in the yard for a week. There were 7 of them lined up on the corral fence this morning.
