All,
I'll second Floyd Schrock's note on Nashville Warblers. I had my third one in a week at Clark College last night (and I generally get out about once a day for twenty minutes--yesterday's flock extended that to an hour) after not having them on campus in the previous 14 springs. I also had two Black-throated Grays last night, one male and one female, and Warbling Vireos are moving through.
And I was more than pleased this May Day morning to have a Starling invasion on my back lawn as we have been inundated with crane flies. THey are happily feasting on the crane fly larvae.
