[obol] Bend Hermit Warbler

There has been a lit of migrant activity this spring along the lower
elevations of Deschutes County, especially along the river. Empids
and warblers are numerous with good diversity. We had a Hammond's
Flycatcher hanging around the house last week. I agree that the snow
at higher elevations is probably a big factor. We've been getting
snow pretty regularly just outside of town as you go up in elevation
toward the Cascades, and there's still several feet of snow pack
above about 4000 feet, lower on slopes with a northern aspect, and
there are very few insects up there.
