Hi all-

  Partway thru our Birdathon for the Audubon Society of Corvallis, Jim and I are stopping by home to check birds here.  This morning 
at Finley Wildlife Refuge, where the lane that leads to the west side of Pigeon Butte takes off from Bruce Road, we had a SWAINSON'S 
THRUSH, singing very softly, and a SOLITARY SANDPIPER, that flew off one of those little muddy puddles in the grass fields, just 
west of the lane.
