Hi,
On May 19, Darrel Faxon wrote:
"This afternoon [May 19] at about 4:30 I saw three Black Swifts cruising
over Thornton Creek. There may have been more. I had just finished
logging with my horse and looked up to see them flying to my east. There
was a row of trees directly in front of me which prevented me from having
a clear view of the sky in that direction, and after they had made a few
passes, they moved on east. Anyway, that was the first time I have ever
seen them here during spring migration, and only the third time I have
seen them at all."
