That location for Ash-throated Flycatcher shows some consistency for this
species as I have had one there in two or three other years in the last 5-10
during late May. I have been suspicious about the potential for breeding at
the house that sits back off the road at the bend in the road, but never
recorded birds there in June. The site obviously does show some consistency
for migrants of this species, I assume moving to breeding sites along the
east-slope of the Cascades in OR or WA.

Subject: [obol] Linn Co. Ashthroated Flyc.

A nice morning of birding in Linn County this am. We birded along
Diamond Hill, Gap, Tub Run and Belts Roads. Lots of LAZULI BUNTINGS,
VESPER SPARROWS, WESTERN KINGBIRDS, WESTERN WOOD PEWEE, and an OLIVE-
SIDED FLYCATCHER. The highlight was getting pictures of both
YELLOWBREASTED CHAT and ASHTHROATED FLYCATCHER. They were both found
on Tub Run Rd about 3/8 to 1/2 mile north of Belts drive on the west
side of the road- shortly before Tub Run turns to the west. The
nearest address was 34115.
We also had two REDNECKED PHALAROPES and two WILSON'S PHALAROPES on

the new wetland restoration project on Diamond Hill Rd.
