     The same time last weekend as the
Green-winged Teal, on upper Kroeni Pond
a Sora was calling. In the growing tangle
at the south end of Pinnacle Production
parking lot a Willow Flycatcher.
     Anyone traveling west on Hwy 26 can
easily detour to this auto-friendly
artificial wetland. Go north on Cornelius
Pass Rd (exit is eponymous) to Jacobsen Rd.
West past Liberty High School to Kroeni.
Jacobsen Rd continues west to the Shute Rd/
Helvetia exit of Hwy 26. A ten minute detour
en route to Fern Hill or Tillamook is
